Plant description

A small dense shrub with mid-sized glossy green leaves with bright red new growth that is a distinguishing feature of this cultivar. White powder-puff flowers are followed by pinkish fruits. The fruit is pleasantly sour, it can be eaten fresh, or used to make jams and jellies. Birds also love the fruit. A great feature, screen, hedge or topiary plant that is also good for pots.
