Plant description

Telopea speciosissima Pink Passion

telopea speciosissima pink passion 001

Telopea 'Pink Passion' is a stunning waratah with gorgeous clear mid-pink blooms. It is an upright grower. A medium to large shrub with broad pale green foliage. A great feature shrub for general garden beds or rockeries which is sure to attract attention. Also suitable for a large container and is a great cut flower. It has been in cultivation for over twenty years, and is a good performer. Waratahs like a deep and free draining soil. Build mounded garden beds if needed to ensure good drainage. Feed in spring with a good native fertiliser or blood and bone, and mulch to deter weed growth as they resent rot competition. Medium frost tolerance.
