Plant description

Telopea x 'Shady Lady Pink' is a dense medium to large shrub with grey-green foliage with large flat pink flower heads in spring. A cross between T. speciosissima and oreades, which means the flowers lack the usual bracts. A good waratah for sub-tropical areas as well as temperate, and for shadier positions. A great feature shrub for general garden beds or rockeries. Also suitable for a large container and is a great cut flower. Frost tolerant. Prefers well drained deep soil, build up the garden bed if needed. Mulch well, and feed in spring with native fertiliser or blood and bone.
