Plant description

Thelionema is is a lovely clumping plant that has bright starry white flowers borne through spring and summer. It makes a lovely rockery or border plant that also works well in a pot. Remove the dead flowers and associated stems after they have finished. This plant forms underground rhizomes, which can form a dense clump. The rhizomes mean that if the plant dies down, or is cut back hard, it can reshoot again. Hardy from cool temperate to sub tropical climates. best in full sun to light shade. The plant can be propagated by dividing the clump.
