Plant description

Themeda australis 'Mingo' is a low spreading, tufting grassy perennial with attractive prostrate blue-green foliage and unusual flowers. Mingo has rusty reddish - brown seed heads which contrast beautifully with its blue foliage. Mingo is an ideal ground cover grass for native gardens and can even be trained as an informal native lawn. It is an easy care plant that tolerates drought and frost, and is rarely troubled by pests or disease. It suits a wide range of soil types.
