Plant description
Tibouchina 'Illusion' is a new variety of Tibouchina, with large flowers that open white with a blush pink margin, and then age to deep pink tones, giving a lovely multicoloured effect. It is a tough and hardy plant and grows to around 2.5 metres high and wide. It grows in a sunny to part shaded position, and in most soil types. It prefers a moist soil. It is good as an informal hedging or screening plant as well as for general garden planting. It will give fast results, and is an easy care plant, being troubled by few pests or diseases. Feed with a slow release fertiliser after flowering. Protect from heavy frost.
Tibouchina 'Illusion' is an Australian bred plant.
