Plant description

torenia x wishbone flower midnight blue 2

torenia x wishbone flower midnight blue 1

Torenia 'Midnight Blue' is one of the few plants that will flower well in shade, with masses of gorgeously coloured dark blue blooms with contrasting yellow and white throats from early spring through to autumn. It also flowers well in sun, but needs protection from very hot summer sun otherwise it will wilt and burn. Does best with regular fertilising through the warm months, and likes a moist and well drained soil. Great for pots, courtyards, poolside and for drift plantings in the garden.
