Plant description

Viburnum 'Emerald Lustre' is a fast growing and hardy shrub with shiny large leaves and pink-bronze new growth. It is good for hedging and screening. The flowers are small, cream and sweetly perfumed, in spring and summer, followed by dark berries. It can be damaged by frosts, but this can be cut back and the plant will regrow. Does not like long dry spells, so will need extra watering in drought times. Best in temperate to tropical climates.

Note- this plant has the potential to become a weed problem. It seeds readily, and birds eat them and spread the plant to bushland. Do not plant near bush areas.
