Plant description

Daphne 'Eternal Fragrance' is a compact perennial shrub with gloriously perfumed flowers. 'Eternal Fragrance' is an outstanding new Daphne that is sun tolerant and after a flush of flowers in spring, will repeat flower throughout the year. It is frost hardy, and unlike other daphnes, the foliage will resist scorching when grown in a sunny position. It is also tolerant of both alkaline and acid soils. It will grow well in a part shaded area. It is drought tolerant once established. It will make a great low perfumed hedge or border, as well as a good specimen plant or container plant. It can be under planted under trees. Place where the exquisite perfume can be enjoyed.

Lightly trim and feed with a slow release fertiliser in summer to maintain a good growth habit. A deep water in times of prolonged dryness will be appreciated by the plant. The plant will perform best in a moist well drained soil. Mulch well to protect the roots and to discourage weed growth.
