Plant description

Alyogyne hakeifolia 'Elle Maree' is a medium sized, evergreen shrub, with beautiful creamy yellow flowers with a contrasting red centre, and tough needle like foliage. It flowers in spring and summer, and is very tolerant of high temperatures. It grows to around 2 metres tall and wide.

Alyogyne is very drought tolerant. It prefers a full sun position, with well drained soil, and protection from strong winds. Prune after flowering to keep the plant compact.
