Plant description

Hardenbergia violaceae 'Meema' is a twining perennial plant with beautiful purple pea flowers in spring, summer and autumn. This cultivar is a tidy small groundcover with a shrubby habit. It will grow 30cm to 45cm tall and have a spread of approximately 1.5metres. Meema can be trained to grow on a trellis where it may reach 2 metres tall making it a great screening plant if desired, otherwise left untrained it forms a tidy small hedge.

Hardenbergia is a rewarding, easy care plant, and will grow well in full sun to partial shade. It is happy in a wide range of soil types.
