Plant description

Ligustrum undulatum 'Lemon Lime and Clippers' is a hardy, easy care evergreen shrub with glossy small leaves, and is excellent for hedging and topiary work. It has dense, lemon and lime coloured foliage which responds well to pruning and shaping, and makes a good contrast for other garden plants. It is suitable for a wide range of soil types, and is fast growing. It is rarely troubled by pests or diseases.

Ligustrum prefers a well drained soil, and mulching will keep the soil moist and help to deter weed growth. Fertilise in spring with a slow release fertiliser. The plant will appreciate deep watering in times of dryness.

Ligustrum undulatum is a non weedy privet, as it does not set fertile seed.
