Plant description

Nerines are an elegant South African bulb, which adds a splash of colour to the autumn garden. They are hardy and easy to grow.

Nerines prefer a sunny well drained position. Once established they don't like to be disturbed, though they can be lifted and divided if they become crowded, as this can affect their flowering. Plant with their neck level to the soil. They are dormant in summer, so this is the best planting or lifting time.
