Plant description

Agapanthus 'Back in Black' is a dwarf variety of agapanthus that flowers in summer, with beautiful shiny black stems topped with umbels of lavender blue flowers. A terrific bullet proof and low maintenance plant, surviving drought, poor soils and neglect while reliably flowering every year. The only maintenance needed is a tidy up after flowering by removing the dead flower stems. Rarely troubled by pests or disease. Good for sun to part shade and can take frost.
