Plant description

Armeria 'Bee's Pink' is a herbaceous, clumping perennial plant with lovely bright pink flowers. It is a hardy and easy care plant. It forms attractive, dense cushions of foliage, and flowers through spring and summer. The flowers are good cut flowers, and can be used fresh or dried. It is a tough and adaptable plant that grows on a wide range of soils, and has few pests and diseases. It makes a good rockery and border plant, as well as being excellent for container growing. Armeria is also good for seaside and poolside plantings, as it is salt tolerant. Armeria likes a sunny or semi shaded position, and is also very frost tolerant. The plant resembles grass, so take care not to mistake it for a weed when it is not in flower. It does not like wet feet.
