Callistemon 'Genoa Glory' is a compact and low maintenance shrub with gem-like purple-pink bottlebrush flowers in spring and autumn, which attract honey eating birds and insects. It works well in most garden situations, from dry to wet and on most soil types. It grows with a single trunk or multi-stemmed, with light papery bark with dense grey-green foliage. Plant as a showy specimen or in groups, around pools or for screening; in streetscapes and open parkland. Prune to shape for hedging and to encourage more flowering. Best in a sunny spot, but can take half shade, frost tolerant.
