Plant description

Cistus salviifolius, sage leaf rock rose, is an evergreen shrubby perennial plant. It has hairy, dimpled leaves and masses of white flowers with contrasting yellow centres in spring. It is an easy care plant, and is frost and drought tolerant. It does well on a wide range of soil types. It is a low, spreading shrub, which is naturally compact and ground covering. It prefers a sunny position and well drained soil.
