Plant description

Dianella revoluta 'Revelation' is an easy care grass-like perennial with blue green foliage and numerous spikes of small blue flowers through spring. It grows to around half a metre high and wide, and has underground rhizomes which give added toughness. Plant in full sun to part shade, and suits sandy, loam and clay soils. A good plant for soil stabilisation. Great for massed planting.

Dianella revoluta can suffer disease problems from extended wet periods, but 'Revelation' is more resistant.
