Plant description

Gardenia augusta 'O So Fine' is a compact, low growing shrub with prolific, perfumed white flowers. It has great dense growth, which makes the plant a great weed smothering ground cover plant, as well as a brilliant flowerer. Likes full sun to part shade, and can tolerate dry spells. A lovely plant for containers as well groundcover, and looks pretty spilling over raised beds. Yellowing foliage can be from magnesium deficiency, which can be remedied with a handful of epsom salts applied to the plant.
