Plant description
This is a very tough Grevillea that makes an excellent shelter for small birds, due to its somewhat prickly foliage and a profusion of showy, nectar-laden flowers. There are many different forms available that vary in flower colour and plant habit, from ground cover to medium sized shrub so seek out the form that best fits your requirements. For instance, more upright habits are useful for informal screens or hedges.
Plants can be pruned to whatever shape you require as they will tolerate heavy pruning but generally a light prune each year after a heavy flush of flowers will keep the plant looking its best.
