Plant description

Hhardenbegia 'Wild Wisteria' is a fast growing climbing form of this wonderful pioneer plant with large dark green leaves and masses of purple pea shaped flowers in dense sprays. This plant makes a great ground cover but will also climb vigorously if given something to support it. It is not a rampant climber in spite of its enthusiastic growth, and at 2 metres high and wide, will not take over the garden. It can also be trimmed to size. Fertilise in early spring with a low phosphorus native plant food. Tolerates light frost and coastal locations.
