Plant description

Lomandra 'Cassica' is a clumping grass-like perennial with broad bluish-green foliage and masses of perfumed yellow flowers in spring. It will grow to a metre high and nearly a metre wide, and has a dense matting habit. Great as a background or mass planting in the garden. Best in sandy soils, and tolerates clay soils. Likes full sun to shaded positions. Good for warm temperate to sub tropical climates. Water till established, after which it is tolerant of dry spells.
