Plant description

Ein Shemer is a low chill variety of apple that can grow and produce well in temperate and subtropical climates. Developed in Israel, it is a good eating apple. It is a Golden Delicious type apple and is greenish yellow in colour. It likes a sandy loam soil wth good drainage. Water in dry periods. mulch well to keep weed growth at bay, and to keep the soil moist. feed with a good general purpose fertiliser in the warmer months.

Good pollinators for Ein Shemer are Anna or Dorsett Golden. Ein Shemer bears fruit from a young age and is very productive.
