Plant description

The pungent divided, fern-like leaf and flat rather unspectacular flower heads define this extremely useful herb. It grows from a tough rootstock and is a biennial that is easily regrown from seed when its limited lifespan is up. It is a tough adaptable plant that tolerates a a wide variety of soil types. The leaves can be harvested all year round and used as a leafy salad plant as well as a flavorusome herb. It is also easily transplanted.
