Poa labillardieri Eskdale

Poa labillardieri 'Eskdale' is a tussock forming, perennial grass with very ornamental needle-like blue-grey foliage. The foliage is upright to arching, and is ideal for creating a soft architectural look, and contrasts well with other plants. Ideal for gardens, borders, rockeries. Trim back in spring. It is a hardy, easy care plant, fast growing and will outcompete weeds. Tolerant of frost and drought, and suits most soil types. Water while establishing, after which it need minimal watering. Trim back the plant hard each year to encourage new growth, and the trimmings can be used as mulch.
