Plant description

A dense low carpeting shrub with lush foliage and a lightly layering habit. Plentiful spires of large purple-blue fan flowers arise continuously in massed display amongst the foliage during spring, summer and autumn, attractive to butterflies which hover daintily above the equally dainty flowers. Plant as edging for pathways or paving; clustered amongst rocky outcrops and in raised beds; as a spectacular container plant for small gardens, patios or balconies, and is highly decorative as a basket plant.
