Plant description

Wisteria 'Amethyst Falls' is a compact variety of this popular woody twining deciduous vine. It has masses of deep lilac coloured flowers in spring with repeat flowering through summer. It grows to around 3 metres and will grow on fences, trelisses and arbours without overwhelming them. Good for container growing. Will grow in most soils, feed in spring with a slow release fertiliser. Moist fertile soils will give the best growth. Trim after flowering to keep growth compact.
