Plant description

Corymbia 'Baby Scarlet' is a large shrub to small tree with large glossy dark green leaves with a light green reverse with reddish new foliage during the warmer months of the year. It has a mass of large, bright scarlet red flowers in summer, which are a magnet for birds. Prefers a well drained soil in a sunny position. This plant is a grafted variety of flowering gum, which tolerates a wider range of conditions. It makes a great specimen tree, and is also good for screening and for street plantings.
