Plant description

Dianella 'Splice is a compact strappy leaved clumping perennial with attractive variegated green and white foliage that has an attractive red tinge as the new leaves are forming. As the leaves mature lime and yellow vertical streaks intensify along the leaf. The variegated leaves brighten the garden with their gorgeous colour. This is a really tough and superbly low maintenance plant for borders, pots or as an accent plant, and is good for those difficult narrow spaces in the landscape. It will take frost, drought and will also grow in shade as well as sun. Water regularly while the plant is establishing, once the roots are well grown it is quite dry tolerant. A terrific native plant selection.
