Plant description

Grevillea 'Boongala Spinebill' is a spreading medium sized shrub with attractive toothed foliage. The new leaf growth has a red tinge. It has a long flowering period, from winter through spring, with red toothbrush-like flowers. Birds love the nectar rich blooms, which can be used for cut flowers. A great feature shrub or screen plant, also useful for planting on banks to hold the soil. Pruning after flowering will help to stop the plant looking too open and untidy.
