Plant description

Jumiperus squamata 'Blue Carpet' is a low growing shrub with attractive,prickly silver blue foliage. It is a very low maintenance prostrate conifer. A good ground covering plant, it will form a dense mat of foliage. It is also a good for bonsai work.

Juniper does well on a wide range of soil types. It is frost and salt tolerant, and can take windy exposed conditions. Likes a sunny position. Mulch well when young to discourage weed growth. Drought tolerant once established.
