Plant description

metrosideros hybrid new zealand christmas bush crimson glory 2

Metrosideros 'Crimson Glory' is a great new variety of the ever popular and very easy care New Zealand Christmas Bush, bred to be more compact and smaller growing. Will reach around three metres tall and two metres wide, making it perfect for hedging, either pruned for a more formal effect, or unpruned for informal gardens. Also brilliant for topiary and container growing. The main flowering is in spring and summer, but it will also spot flower through the year, with large fluffy heads of bright red. Does well in coastal gardens, is waterwise once established and can take some frost.
