Plant description

Xerochrysum 'Sophie's Delight' is a low growing and spreading perennial with small dark green leaves and lovely white everlasting flowers with orange centres. The blooms attract butterflies and are wonderful for cut flowers. If using as everlasting flowers, cut in bud and hang upside down till dry. A great rockery, border or pot plant. Good heat tolerant plant, performs best in full sun but will tolerate light shade. Can tolerate dryness, but does best with moist soil, as dry soil conditions will reduce the flowering. This plant is also known as Bracteanthe 'Sophie's Delight'.
