Plant description

Brunfelsia pauciflora 'Compacta' is a dwarf variety of the popular Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow plant. It is an evergreen small shrub growing to 2 metres, and the flowers open purple, fade to mauve and then white, giving a three coloured effect when flowering. It flowers from spring to autumn in warmer areas. The flowers are borne on the terminals of the branches, so trimming to form a dense shrub will improve the flowering.

It is suited to full sun to part shade.

The seed and parts of the plant are poisonous if ingested.
